The revenant blade is a Valenar elf who can draw on the skills of ancient heroes, the giant-slayers of Xen’drik. Guided by these ancestral spirits, the revenant blade is a deadly warrior trained in the arts of stealth and survival.

Skills: The revenant blade gains Knowledge (History) as a class skill and loses Knowledge (Dungeoneering).
Ancestral Guidance: Once per day, the revenant blade can call upon his ancestors to grant him knowledge and talent beyond his normal aptitudes. To accomplish this, he must spend 1 hour in quiet meditation, starting at dawn. At the end of this hour, he gains a bonus feat selected from the list below; he deed not meet the normal requirements for the feat. The feat lasts until dawn the next day.
Alertness, Blind-Fight, Combat Expertise, Dodge, Great Cleave, Improved Critical (Valenar Double Scimitar), Improved Sunder, Improved Trip, Power Attack, Skill Focus (Knowledge [History]), Spring Attack, Stealthy, Weapon Specialization (Valenar Double Scimitar).
At 10th level, you can choose two feats from this list upon completing your meditation. At 18th level, you can choose three feats from this list. You cannot use this bonus feat to meet any requirements or prerequisites (such as for another feat or a prestige class). This ability replaces the ranger’s Endurance feat gained at 3rd level, the favored enemy gained at 10th level, and the favored terrain gained at 18th level.
Combat Style Feats: The revenant blade must take the two-weapon fighting or mounted combat style. This replaces and counts as the ranger’s combat style feat class feature.
Shadow of the Past: At 8th level, the revenant blade adds half of his level to Stealth checks. This ability replaces the ranger’s swift tracker ability.
Giant Slayer: When facing giants, the revenant blade’s favored enemy bonus is two higher than normal. If the revenant blade has not taken giants as one of his favored enemies, it is counted as + 2. In addition, the revenant blade learns to speak and write Giant as if he had spent points in the Linguistics skill. This ability replaces the ranger’s evasion ability.
Hero of the Valaes Tairn: The Valenar have immense respect for those who bond with the spirits of the past. You gain a + 5 circumstance bonus on Diplomacy checks made to influence the attitude of a Valenar elf.
Legendary Force: At 12th level, the revenant blade becomes a true master of the double scimitar. Through skill and art, he learns to strike with astonishing strength. This ability allows you to treat both ends of the Valenar double scimitar as two-handed weapon, even when you use it as a double weapon. This ability replaces the ranger’s ability.
