Aberrant Dragonmark

Although you are not a recognized member of one of the dragonmarked families, you have manifested a dragonmark. Aberrant dragonmarks are mutations that appear occasionally among the dragonmarked races (usually to those not of a dragonmarked house) that can be traced back to the blood lines of corrupted dragonmarked families eliminated in the War of the Mark. At a quick glance, an aberrant mark could be mistaken for an established dragonmark, but on close inspection its differences are readily apparent.

Prerequisite: Dragonmarked race (Human, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Halfling, Half-Elf, or Half-Orc).

Benefit: Select one spell from the following list, or two 0-level spells from any list: burning hands, cause fear, charm person, chill touch, detect secret doors, feather fall, inflict light wounds, jump, light, pass without trace, produce flame, shield, floating disk. You may use that spell as a spell-like ability a number of times per day equal to 1 + your Cha modifier (caster level equals your character level) – if you have multiple spells they share a single pool of uses.

Special: A character with this feat may never gain a true dragonmark, and a character with a true dragonmark may never gain this feat. You may select this feat multiple times. Each time after the first grants you additional spell choices but no extra uses.

Leads Into: Aberrant Dragonmark Mystery, Aberrant Dragonmark Vigor, Ashbound Mark, Dragonmark Fist, Dragonmark Rage, Evoker’s Mark, Lesser Aberrant Dragonmark, Mark of Madness, Mark of Resilience, Mark of Vengeance, Mark of Vermin, Mighty Dragonmark, Nightborn Dragonmark, Ward of Khyber, Winter’s Mark
